Hip Hop 101: Curriculum

We aim to teach children and teens the core elements of Hip Hop which include: deejaying, emceeing, breakdancing and graffiti art.

Topics include:

• History of the Deejay

• Basics of Song Strucutre

• Fundamentals of Stage Presence

• Lyrical Skill Building

• Fundamentals of Production / Beatmaking

• How to Get on the Radio

We focus on showing the youth positive ways to express themselves through Hip Hop art forms.

After School & Summer Programs

KRU partners with schools, non-profits, art schools and community organizations to offer summer educational programs for children and teens.
